What symptoms do you treat?
At Herbly, we treat a variety of conditions when conventional medical treatments haven’t worked. The most common include chronic pain, anxiety, insomnia, PTSD, stress, migraines, nerve pain and endometroisis.
What is an alternative medicine Authorised Prescriber?
In Australia, any doctor can legally prescribe alternative medicine, but most prescriptions come from Authorised Prescribers (APs). These doctors have special approval from the TGA to prescribe alternative medicine in certain cases. All of Herbly’s doctors are Authorised Prescribers, allowing for a quicker and smoother prescription process.

How do I book a telehealth consultation with Herbly?
Booking a consultation is easy. Simply book now, or contact us directly to schedule an appointment at a time that works for you.
How long are the telehealth consultations?
Our consultations typically last between 10 to 30 minutes, depending on the complexity of your medical needs.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule my appointment?
You can easily reschedule or cancel your appointment by contacting our clinic. We kindly ask for 24 hours' notice for cancellations.
Refunds are not provided for missed appointments or cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled time. Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance will be refunded in full.
How do I pay for my Herbly telehealth consultation?
Payments can be made securely online using credit or debit cards. We also provide billing options for those using insurance.
Is Herbly's telehealth service secure and private?
Yes, all our telehealth consultations use secure, encrypted platforms that comply with strict healthcare privacy regulations to ensure your information is kept confidential.
Insurance & Medicare
Can I claim my consult through Medicare?
Currently, Herbly consultations cannot be claimed through Medicare.
Does health insurance cover alternative treatments?
Many private health insurers cover part or all of the costs for alternative medicine treatments. However, some of Australia's major insurers may not offer coverage for alternative health solutions, so be sure to check your policy before making a claim.
Medication & Prescriptions
Can I get a prescription through Herbly?
Yes, if medically appropriate, our healthcare providers can issue prescriptions that will be delivered to your door.
Can I make changes to my prescription?
As with all prescribed medication, the only way to make changes to a prescription is by talking to your doctor.
How do i get my medication?
Once your prescription is approved, we arrange for your medication to be delivered directly to your door, ensuring a quick and convenient service.
How does your delivery offering work?
Our standard delivery option nation-wide is with registered Express Australia Post.
Express Post typically aims for next business day delivery - although these estimations may shift depending on the recipient's location.
If no one is available to sign, your order will be securely sent to your local post office for convenient pickup.
Do I need to be home for my delivery?
Due to the nature of your medication, our delivery partners are unable to leave your parcel unattended.
A signature on delivery is required, otherwise the order will be taken to the nearest Australia Post Office to be collected at your convenience.
Alternative Therapy
What is alternative medicine?
Alternative medicine can be prescribed for over 140 conditions, with products like flower, oils, topicals, and sprays available through the Special Access Scheme (SAS).
Our alternative treatments complement conventional approaches by managing symptoms and side effects through tailored treatment plans.
Is alternative medicine legal in Australia?
Yes, alternative medicine is legal in Australia, but certain treatments require a prescription from an authorised doctor who follows TGA guidelines.
How do I know if alternative medicine is right for me?
Your doctor will assess your medical history and current health needs to determine if alternative treatments are appropriate. You can also complete our pre-screening questionnaire to get an initial idea of your suitability for alternative medicine.
