What symptoms do you treat?
At Herbly, we treat a variety of conditions when conventional medical treatments haven’t worked. The most common include chronic pain, anxiety, insomnia, mood, stress, migraines, nerve pain and endometriosis.
What is an alternative medicine Authorised Prescriber?
In Australia, any doctor can legally prescribe alternative medicine, but most prescriptions come from Authorised Prescribers (APs). These doctors have special approval from the TGA to prescribe alternative medicine in certain cases.
All of Herbly’s doctors are Authorised Prescribers, allowing for a quicker and smoother prescription process.

Pricing
How much do your consultations cost?
At Herbly, initial consultations are $19, and follow-up consultations are $19.
For most patients, we recommend a review appointment around 1 month and again at 4 months after starting treatment.
From there, ongoing consultations are usually scheduled every three months, depending on your treatment plan and individual needs.
Your doctor or nurse practitioner will guide you on the best follow-up schedule to ensure safe, effective care.
How much does the medication cost?
Medication costs at Herbly vary depending on what your doctor or nurse practitioner prescribes. Our clinical team is trained to consider your budget and treatment goals when recommending alternative therapies.
If you have any concerns about affordability, just let your healthcare provider know during your consultation.

Are there any other costs?
At Herbly, we aim to keep pricing simple and transparent. Aside from your consultation fees and medication costs, there’s only one additional fee to be aware of:
If you choose to have your prescription filled at a pharmacy other than our preferred partners, a $30 administrative fee applies per script.
This covers the time and resources required to securely collate, process, and transmit your prescription and approvals.

How do I book a telehealth consultation with Herbly?
Booking a consultation is easy. Simply book now, or contact us directly to schedule an appointment at a time that works for you.
How long are the telehealth consultations?
Our consultations typically last between 10 to 30 minutes, depending on the complexity of your medical needs.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule my appointment?
You can easily reschedule or cancel your appointment by contacting our clinic. We kindly ask for 24 hours' notice for cancellations.
Refunds are not provided for missed appointments or cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled time. Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance will be refunded in full.
How do I pay for my Herbly telehealth consultation?
Payments can be made securely online using credit or debit cards at the time of booking. We also provide billing options for those using insurance.
How often should I book follow-up consultations?
For patients new to alternative healthcare, we recommend booking a follow-up consultation around one month after your initial appointment.
This allows your doctor or nurse practitioner to monitor your progress and make any necessary adjustments to your treatment plan.
After that, the frequency of return consultations will depend on your individual needs and your healthcare provider’s recommendations.
Keep in mind that most prescriptions are valid for six months, so long-term patients typically require at least two consultations per year to maintain their treatment.
Is Herbly's telehealth service secure and private?
Yes, all our telehealth consultations use secure, encrypted platforms that comply with strict healthcare privacy regulations to ensure your information is kept confidential.
Medication & Prescriptions
Can I get a prescription through Herbly?
Yes, if medically appropriate, our healthcare providers can issue prescriptions.
Can I make changes to my prescription?
As with all prescribed medication, the only way to make changes to a prescription is by booking a consultation with your doctor.
How do i order my prescription?
After your consultation, if you’re prescribed medication, we’ll email you a secure link to review and purchase your order online.
It’s quick, easy, and your medication will be delivered discreetly to your door.
How do i get my medication?
Once your prescription is approved, we arrange for your medication to be delivered directly to your door, ensuring a quick and convenient service.
How do I know my monthly limit?
Your doctor or nurse practitioner will explain everything during your consultation, and you’ll also receive a summary via email after your appointment with your monthly limit information.
Do I need to be home for my delivery?
Due to the nature of your medication, our delivery partners are unable to leave your parcel unattended.
A signature on delivery is required, otherwise the order will be taken to the nearest Australia Post Office to be collected at your convenience.
Insurance & Medicare
Can I claim my consult through Medicare?
Currently, Herbly consultations cannot be claimed through Medicare.
Does health insurance cover alternative treatments?
Many private health insurers cover part or all of the costs for alternative medicine treatments. However, some of Australia's major insurers may not offer coverage for alternative health solutions, so be sure to check your policy before making a claim.
Shipping & Dispensing
How much does shipping cost?
If you're ordering medication through our preferred pharmacies, express delivery is available for $12.95 via StarTrack for fast and secure shipping.
What is your standard delivery?
Our standard delivery option nation-wide is with registered Express Australia Post.
Express Post typically aims for next business day delivery - although these estimations may shift depending on the recipient's location.
If no one is available to sign, your order will be securely sent to your local post office for convenient pickup.
Do I need to be home for my delivery?
Due to the nature of your medication, our delivery partners are unable to leave your parcel unattended.
A signature on delivery is required, otherwise the order will be taken to the nearest Australia Post Office to be collected at your convenience.
When will I receive my medication?
Once your medication has been dispatched, you’ll receive a tracking number via email so you can follow your delivery every step of the way.
Orders usually arrive within 1–4 business days in metro areas.
Alternative Therapy
What is alternative medicine?
Alternative medicine can be prescribed for over 140 conditions, with products like flower, oils, topicals, and sprays available through the Special Access Scheme (SAS).
Our alternative treatments complement conventional approaches by managing symptoms and side effects through tailored treatment plans.
Is alternative medicine legal in Australia?
Yes, alternative medicine is legal in Australia, but certain treatments require a prescription from an authorised doctor who follows TGA guidelines.
How do I know if alternative medicine is right for me?
Your doctor will assess your medical history and current health needs to determine if alternative treatments are appropriate. You can also complete our pre-screening questionnaire to get an initial idea of your suitability for alternative medicine.
