Monthly Limits

Important: You’ll receive email updates showing your current monthly limits for each product type and exactly how much you’ve used so far.

Your doctor sets the maximum you can order each calendar month per product type. When you reach a limit for a category, you can order again after the month resets on the 1st.

Who sets these limits?

  1. Your prescriber determines dose, quantity and repeats under TGA Special Access Scheme (SAS) or Authorised Prescriber (AP) pathways.

  2. Clinic policy sets per‑category monthly caps and the 1st‑of‑month reset to support safe use and continuity of supply.

Common questions

Is there a national flower limit like 60g/month?

  • No. We use 60g/month as a clinical ceiling for flower, but it’s not a TGA‑mandated cap.

Do limits in one category affect another?

  • No. Each category is tracked separately.

Real world example:

You have a 30g dried herb limit. If you’re dispensed 10g on the 7th and 20g on the 20th, your 'used' hits 30g and you can’t order more dried herb until the 1st of next month.
